Who Runners, walkers and strollers alike are invited to participate in the 26th annual Turkey Trot. Gather your family and friends to start the holiday season at this unique event that embodies the community spirit of Thanksgiving.
What Choose between an invigorating 5 mile run or a brisk 3 mile walk through the scenic countryside of Green Valley North. Then joing us for a Celebration Party. This morning is filled with fun, physical activity, and community good will.

9:00am Route opens (no splits or water on course)
9:00am - 11:00am Turkey Trot Celebration Party with breakfast, door prizes and special celebrity appearances.
Where Turkey Trot traverses the gently rolling countryside of Green Valley North. The route begins and ends at Chesnut Ridge Park and Community Center at the corner of Greenspring Ave and Ridge Rd.
Directions Take 695 to Greenspring Avenue North, 6.5 miles. Look for the festivities and parking at the corner of Greenspring Ave and Ridge Rd.

Each registered participant will recieve a Green Valley North Turket Trot T-Shirt, breakfast and the chance to win valuable door prizes. You may also register on-site (t-shirts will be supplied as they last).
Pre-registration Early registration can be done on Tuesday November 24th from 5-8 pm at the Chestnut Ridge Volunteer Fire Department located at 12020 Greenspring Ave.
Canned Food Drive
In addition to our fundraising, the Green Valley North Turkey Trot will be holding a Canned Food Drive to benefit local charities. Collections of non-perishable canned food items will be held during pre-registration night, as well as the day of The Trot.

Bring the form, donation, and canned food donation to the Chestnut Ridge Vol. Fire House from 5-8pm on Tuesday, Nov 24th, and pick up your 2009 Trot Shirt at the same time.
